East Pattaya, for my website purposes, covers the Soi Chaiyaphon Withi, Siam Country Club Road, Soi Nern Plub Wan, Soi Khao Noi, Soi Khao Talo and other sois down to Soi 89 and as far east as Mabprachan Lake, Chak Nork, Horseshoe Point, Crocodile Farm and East Jomtien areas.
East Pattaya is a very popular location for Ex-Pat housing with a wide range of house prices from 2,000,000 THB to houses priced at millions of Dollars.
East Pattaya has always been popular with Ex-Pats and Thais alike as it is out-of-town but close enough to drive in for the beaches, shopping and entertainment.
East Pattaya is generally a 15-25 minute drive from central Pattaya and offers good access to the international schools and industrial zones.
There is a good selection of Local and Bi-Lingual schools with the main international schools in East Pattaya being Ladybird International Kindergarten and Tara Pattana International School.
There are numerous local Thai restaurants and large food markets in the area.
East Pattaya has its share of good international restaurants too such as Ticino Restaurant & Vespa BarLivv Bakery CaféSuggestions Cozy Restaurant and Vientiane Restaurant; and the restaurants and pubs at Mabprachan Lake are only a short drive away.
If golf is your game you will find Phoenix Golf Course and the 3 courses at Siam Country Club almost on your doorstep.
Convenience stores such as 7/11Family MartLotus Express and Mini BigC are now in the area. For larger food shopping Makro and Tesco Lotus are only a short drive away.
There only banks in East Pattaya are on Soi Khoa Talo, but most stores mentioned above have ATMmachines.
