The Cabinet today approved a series measures to help stimulate the real estate market.

These measures include reducing the housing transfer registration fee from 2% to 0.01%

It is expected that the Cabinet will reduce specific income tax from 3.3% to 0.1%

Mortgage  fees have been slashed from 1% to 0.01%

These measures come into effect on Monday to 30 April 2016.
Le's hope that the Cabinet decide to run the incentives for a longer period like they did about 10 years ago!

Buyers of homes that cost less than 3,000,000 THB will have an extra incentive with 20% of the purchase price being tax deductable for 5 years. This incentive starts on 31 December 2015

This sounds encouraging!

I'm sure more incentives will come to light over the next few days!
